In college I waitressed at a (semi-famous) local BBQ joint. Working there made a lasting impression on me, I learned the value of combining trips, the skill of brisk walking (that borders on a light jog), how to balance large platters of barbecued meat without spilling, and how to quickly clear off a 12 seater table (six cups in each hand!).
I also took away a new love for two things: 1. pickles in chili (TRY IT) 2. coleslaw on (almost) every type of sandwich.
I’m using the term sandwich lightly here, to include things like burgers, andย since I don’t eat bread- deconstructed sandwiches. ๐
It makes sense, since coleslaw is mayo based (at least this recipe is, which is delicious on all sandwiches, and there is something so satisfying about having a nice crunch on your burger.
I’ve been buying broccoli slaw instead of regular (cabbage) coleslaw for a while now. The broccoli slaw holds a better crunch I think – and is full of all those delicious broccoli vitamins ๐
This recipe really couldn’t be easier, just stir everything together, and GENEROUSLY top your favorite burger and sandwich!
Simple Paleo Coleslaw Dressing

- 1/2 Cup Paleo Mayo

- Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
Instructions
So incredibly easy! Just mix the ingredients together! You can refrigerate for a few hours before serving- but it is delicious right away too.
